Overview

Join our Project & Programme Management (PPM) Infrastructure team in Dublin and work on some of Ireland's most prestigious construction projects across rail, highways, utilities, energy, and aviation.

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager with expertise in project management, planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive successful project outcomes.

Your role

  • Coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets and cost control measures.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks effectively.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate project control teams to achieve objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and senior stakeholders.
  • Present complex project information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Analyse project data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and budget to maintain alignment with objectives.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (Masters or MBA preferred).
  • PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in project controls and managerial role.
  • Proficiency in project controls software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strategic thinking and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability and high ethical standards.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
