Your role
As a Decommissioning Operative, you will play a hands-on role in delivering complex decommissioning activities safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include
- Safety First: Implement and adhere to Project Safety Plans, Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements at all times.
- Standards Compliance: Apply relevant HSE regulations, British Standards, and European standards to ensure work is performed to required specifications.
- Operational Delivery: Execute decommissioning tasks in line with company procedures and site requirements while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Supervisors, Construction Coordinators, and contractors to ensure seamless and coordinated operations.
- Active Participation: Engage in pre- and post-job briefs, safety meetings, and toolbox talks, contributing insights and feedback.
- Accountability: Take ownership of your work, ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) and Nuclear Site Licence conditions.
