Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer to deliver high-quality engineering design in Mechanical Engineering. The role involves providing technical expertise, supporting project and design management, and building strong client relationships.
Your role
- Provide technical inputs for mechanical/HVAC design and consulting assignments.
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables, including design calculations, reports, specifications, drawings, schedules, statutory submissions, and comment response tables.
- Coordinate between project team members, clients, government, architect, and other sub-consultant to facilitate project implementation.
- Participate in technical proposal preparation, prepare tender documents and tendering assistance.
- Supervise junior engineers in terms of work allocation, training, and problem resolution.
- Carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures, report any potential risk and problem to immediate supervisor.

About you
- Degree holder or above in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in mechanical / building services engineering, preferably with consultant-side project delivery experience.
- Professional qualification is not mandatory. Candidates working towards HKIE, CIBSE, IMechE or equivalent professional membership will be an advantage.
- Experience in design coordination, contractor submission review, site coordination, site inspections and follow-up of technical issues.
- Solid HVAC background, with knowledge of air-conditioning, ventilation, chilled water systems, heat load calculations, equipment selection and spatial coordination.
- General understanding of building services systems, including electrical, fire services, plumbing and drainage, controls / BMS and builder's work coordination.
- Collaborative, responsive and practical, with a positive working attitude and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Able to work effectively with project managers, senior engineers, multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors and site teams in a constructive manner.
- Well organised and able to follow through actions, submissions and coordination issues until closure, particularly under time-critical project situations.
- Familiar with digital tools, AI, and BIM software.
- Candidates having less experience will be considered as Assistant Engineer.
