Your role
- High level of accountability. Drives the strategic direction of an aspect of the business to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Influences clients and stakeholders at a high level. Confidently work with business leaders and has a reputation for helping clients to solve significant problems and meet their strategic goals, adding tangible value to Atkins' business, as a result.
- A disruptor with good business acumen – challenges the status quo and influences the business to implement change and take risks where there are measurable gains to be made. Able to make tough decisions.
- An integrator – steps across the boundaries of other businesses and integrates and leads work, streams, and capabilities.
- Innovative and creative. Can devise multiple solutions to any problem.
- Leads and manages the use of BMS for their area of work. Takes the critical friend role at amber level bids.
- Provides significant overall thought leadership and technical capability(ies) and sets the professional standards in their area.
- Can function as the Professional Head of Discipline, Technical Authority or Fellow, while actively leading coordination with other disciplines.
- Involvement in international policy setting.
- Chairs relevant industry committees or is a highly influential member of the same.
- Leading strategy(ies) within the business unit
- Fully integrated with counterparts in different regions of Atkins and actively identifying cross-application of skills
- Trusted to represent GTC whenever input is requested on technical matters.
- Works as a Project Technical Reviewer on our riskiest projects and or programmes. Driving the right behaviours within the organization for digital initiatives to improve business performance and productivity.

- Comprehensive understanding of supporting pan design disciplines such as Engineering Safety Management, Human Factors and Sustainability.
- Works as a Project Technical Leader on large complex projects / Project Technical Reviewer on large complex projects through Engineering Management Competency Framework (EMCF). Driving the right behaviours within organization for digital initiatives to improve business performance productivity.
