Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Interface Engineer to provide offshore support for multiple construction and site supervision projects across the Middle East. The role involves managing project operations, overseeing client and contractor interfaces, and ensuring high standards of technical quality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will coordinate effectively between site supervision teams, design teams, clients, contractors, and the GTC India Office to enable seamless communication, timely delivery, and overall project excellence.
Your role
- Coordinate closely with Site Supervision Teams across multiple Middle East projects and act as the primary technical point of contact for GTC India.
- Oversee project performance, operational efficiency, and adherence to quality standards on all deliverables.
- Support contract administration activities, technical reviews, contractor instructions, and issue/claims resolution.
- Collaborate with Site Offices and internal stakeholders on project coordination and strategic activities.
- Assist discipline GTC staff in reviewing submittals, including contractor design drawings, shop drawings, materials, and alternatives.
- Support GTC discipline teams in resolving technical issues, disputes, and claims requiring detailed analysis and closure.
- Evaluate current site supervision processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
- Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and inputs required by the Client for project-specific matters.
- Coordinate design office support requests and follow up on design issues to enhance delivery processes.
- Mentor discipline staff on technical processes, procedures, and best practices; conduct regular internal coordination meetings.

About you
Experience
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in site-based construction supervision, covering a wide range of engineering disciplines.
- Candidates with proven experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams on large-scale Middle East projects are preferred.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Proven leadership with multi-disciplinary experience in construction management or site supervision.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, project execution, and site supervision practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good understanding of international codes and standards.
- Ability to review shop drawings, material submittals, and respond to technical queries.
- Knowledge of UAE regulations and local authority requirements is an advantage.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel to the UAE for short durations as required by project needs.
