Real Estate Advisory Consultant

The Real Estate Advisory Consultant will support a transformative airport infrastructure project and provide a dedicated management level support to the Real Estate team. This position is based in our project office located in the west end of Toronto and requires fulltime on-site presence.

Your role

  • Provide dedicated management-level support to the Real Estate team during a major airport expansion and construction program.
  • Act as an extension of the leasing and development function, ensuring commercial objectives remain aligned with project delivery while reducing strain on core team resources.
  • Serve as the single intake and coordination point for space-related requests arising from the capital program.
  • Balance program requirements, operational requirements, and commercial value for current/future development optionality during construction and phasing activities.
  • Support the Improvement of coordination, execution, and reporting across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Support leasing and development activities including tenant relocations, temporary accommodations, and phasing strategies.
  • Triage and prioritize requests based on commercial impact, operational risk, deliverability within construction sequencing.
  • Act as a key day-to-day liaison between the capital project team and Real Estate, identifying and de-risking tenant disruptions and schedule impacts.
  • Protect commercial value and future development optionality during construction and phasing activities.
  • Proactively manage requests, track milestones and risks, and help minimize tenant disruptions to ensure smooth project delivery, positive stakeholder relationships and alignment with operational and commercial objectives.
  • Act as the construction interface with tenants, supporting tenant relocations, space planning and construction activities while coordinating communications, site visits and project updates.
  • Prepare regular updates on project milestones, key tenant agreement dates (e.g. termination notices), key risks and mitigation strategies.

About you

  • BA/BS + 5years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.

  • Strong background of commercial real estate management (ideally with aviation or major infrastructure program experience).

  • Strong landlord-side experience including tenant engagement, leasing/development commercial activities, project management.

  • Demonstrable track record of designing/implementing mitigation strategies to minimize commercial risk.

  • Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $70,000 - $120,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
