Your role

  • Develop Concept, Preliminary, Detailed design, related calculations specification and documentation.

  • Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following design disciplines: Storm water drainage, foul water drainage, water supply engineering, dry utilities design/management, geometry and/or pavement design for rural roads and small urban roads.
  • Independently originate single utility projects and work as part of team for multi utility projects. Independently participate and/ or lead Inter-Disciplinary coordination.
  • Develop hydraulic models and use the design knowledge to optimise and develop options for the storm drainage schemes with help of senior staff members.
  • Develop awareness of sustainable solutions and carbon low designs working towards NetZero.
  • Develop understanding of multi-Discipline coordination's'and coordination's with LPOs. Assist in preparation of presentations, reports and 3D models
  • Awareness and preliminary exposure to CDEs- ProjectWise, BIM 360, MS teams, SharePoint sites etc.
  • Develop 3D/2D models/ drawing, components and interface between design and BIM software's.
  • Working knowledge of Utility Clash inspection and Clash resolution
  • Develop design tools win coordination with GTC digital teams.
  • Support in team development and skill enhancement.
  • Apply AtkinsRéalis Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) standards and Business Management System (BMS).
  • Embrace digital engineering and promoting innovative engineering design solutions.

About you

  • Bachelor's'and master's degree in civil engineering from an institute of repute.
  • 4-6 years of experience in the Water and land development Industry is preferred
  • Wet utilities design (storm, foul water, Potable water and TSE) for UK, Ireland, Canada and other regions.
  • Exposure to international codes for UK, Canada, US will be preferred.
  • Hands on experience of various software's like Info Drainage, Causeway Flow, PCSWMM etc will be an additional benefit.
  • Working knowledge of BIM platforms like Civil3D, MicroStation and/or Open Roads/ Inroads/ MX Road, Revit. Navisworks etc will be an additional benefit.
  • Good written and verbal English language communication skills.
  • Positive Attitude and eagerness to learn and use utility related design software's, tools and processes for automation and digital efficiency as per the project and business requirement.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues, seniors, team members and clients.
  • A team player and work in collaboration.
