Overview
The Sustainability Officer supports the Sustainability Manager in implementing, monitoring, and reporting sustainability initiatives on site. This is a full-time, site-based role.
Your role
- Support implementation of the Sustainability Plan on site.
- Collect and manage sustainability data (energy, water, waste, materials).
- Assist with monthly sustainability reports and documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and compliance monitoring.
- Support environmental controls, waste management, and CSR activities.
- Maintain records, training logs, and audit evidence.
- Promote sustainability awareness among site teams and subcontractors.

About you
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in sustainability or environmental roles.
- Familiar with construction site practices and Malaysian regulations.
- Basic reporting and coordination skills.
- Willing to be site-based in Penang.
- Preferred exposure / training: GBI, MyCREST, INFRASTAR, pH-JKR, GreenRE, GreenPASS, ESG or sustainability reporting.
