Relevant du Chef de l'ingénierie métallurgique, le poste de Technicien(ne) en métallurgie offre une occasion de contribuer directement à la qualité et à la fiabilité des projets. Le titulaire du poste réalisera des inspections essentielles en chantier et en atelier, tout en participant à la surveillance de travaux de fabrication, d'installation et de soudage.
Votre rôle
Réaliser des inspections visuelles et/ou non destructives sur des soudures en chantier et en atelier.
Effectuer les inspections et vérifications nécessaires pour garantir la qualité des travaux de fabrication et d'installation de structures métalliques.
Vérifier en chantier la conformité des assemblages de bâtiments et de structures connexes.
Rédiger des comptes rendus journaliers et des rapports hebdomadaires.
Documenter les essais au moyen de photos.
Étalonner les équipements de mesure.

À propos de vous
Un minimum de 5 ans d'expérience pertinente en inspection.
Détenir un DEC ou un AEC en métallurgie ou dans un domaine connexe.
Détenir une certification en inspection du soudage (CSA W178.2) de niveau 2 valide.
Détenir la formation en santé et sécurité sur les chantiers de construction (ASP Construction).
Détenir un permis de conduire valide et avoir accès à un véhicule.
Disponible pour des déplacements réguliers dans la Grande région métropolitaine de Montréal et ouvert à des déplacements occasionnels ailleurs au Québec.
