Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Robotics & AI Engineering Intern to support the development of intelligent robotic systems, computer vision solutions, AI-powered automation workflows, and digital twin simulations. The intern will work closely with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and Domain Experts to design, develop, and test robotics and autonomous system solutions for real-world engineering challenges.

Your role

  • Develop and test robotic control algorithms.
  • Implement motion planning and navigation solutions.
  • Support integration of sensors, actuators, and robotic hardware.
  • Assist in robot simulation and validation activities.
  • Build and train Machine Learning and Deep Learning models.
  • Develop AI solutions for object detection, image classification, and anomaly detection.
  • Analyse sensor and robotics data for predictive insights.
  • Implement AI workflows using Python-based frameworks.
  • Develop image and video analytics solutions.
  • Work with OpenCV, YOLO, TensorFlow, or PyTorch models.
  • Perform object detection, tracking, segmentation, and scene understanding.
  • Create virtual robotic environments using simulation platforms.
  • Assist in building Digital Twin models for robotics applications.
  • Support testing through simulated scenarios before deployment.
  • Evaluate emerging AI and robotics technologies.
  • Conduct literature reviews and proof-of-concept developments.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations.

About you

  • Pursuing final year or pre-final year B.Tech/B.E. in: CSE, Data Science, AT/ML, Robotics engineering, Mechatronics with AI/Robotics specialization
  • Python (Mandatory), C++ (Preferred), Basic SQL
  • Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch, Deep Learning fundamentals
  • ROS/ROS2, Robot Kinematics, Path Planning Concepts, SLAM fundamentals
  • OpenCV, Image Processing Techniques, Object Detection Frameworks
  • NumPy, Pandas, Data Visualization
  • Azure AI Services, Azure Machine Learning, Docker, Git/GitHub
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for robotics, AI, and emerging technologies.
