Overview
AtkinsRéalis is one of the world's leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services, with offices across Ireland. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager (with a civil / structural engineering background) to join our Galway office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment on diverse public and private projects.
Your role
- Lead projects as a client-facing Project Manager, ensuring successful delivery.
- Contribute to innovative and high-quality engineering solutions.
- The candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, willing to take responsibility and comfortable working as part of a team.
Project Management / Leadership
- Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
- Financial management of project delivery.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and graduates.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Preparation of project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage).
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Support business growth by building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Assist in preparing proposals, bids, and tender documentation.
- Identify new opportunities and contribute to strategic planning.
