Sr Director I - Business Service

Overview

We are seeking a Sr Director I – Business Service to join our Industrial Market in Houston, TX reporting to the Sr. Market Director.

Your role

Client Leadership & Strategic Account Support

  • Supporting client re-bids, partnering with market and pursuit leadership to strengthen positioning, solution development, and client engagement.

  • Serve as a senior client leader and delivery sponsor for clients across our industrial market, including pharmaceutical, high-tech, data centers, and general manufacturing markets.
  • Leverage relationships with former industry leaders to support account growth and delivery continuity.

Program, Project & Delivery Excellence

  • Support internal project management (PM) activities, for clients; billable only when acting as a Licensed Specialist (LS) and subject to approved purchase orders (POs).

  • Contribute to the client's system digital rewrite and innovation and digital initiatives, providing leadership, coordination, and delivery oversight aligned with client requirements.

  • Support the winning and delivery of other high‑tech client projects as required, ensuring quality, governance, and risk management.

  • Support delivery of data center projects and programs, working closely with technical, delivery, and client teams.

Digital, Technology & MMS Support

  • Provide digital and technology consulting support to the MMS technology teams as required, aligning business services with digital delivery needs.

  • Support technology‑enabled solutions that enhance client outcomes, delivery efficiency, and competitive differentiation.

Industrial Clients & Key Account Management

  • Support winning and delivery of industrial client projects and Key Account Management (KAM) programs as required.

  • Partner with Market and Sales leaders to identify expansion opportunities and strengthen long‑term client relationships.

Financial Performance & Utilization

  • Maintain a billability target of approximately 60%, balanced with leadership, client sponsorship, and growth responsibilities.

  • Support financial performance across assigned portfolios, including revenue, margin, and delivery efficiency.

Leadership & Organizational Alignment

  • Collaborate with Directors, senior managers, and technical leaders to ensure alignment across delivery, growth, and operational priorities.

  • Translate market and portfolio strategies into executable plans that support growth, delivery excellence, and client satisfaction.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and capability development across Business Services.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant professional, technical, or business discipline required.

  • Typically 15–20+ years of relevant experience, including leadership of complex programs, portfolios, or client accounts.

  • Demonstrated success supporting large, sophisticated clients in high‑tech, data center, or industrial environments.

  • Strong understanding of digital, technology, and business service delivery models.

  • Proven ability to balance billable contribution with senior leadership, client sponsorship, and growth responsibilities.

  • Strong financial, operational, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent communication, judgment, and executive presence.

  • Professional registration or certification in a relevant field preferred (if applicable).
