We are seeking a Digital Delivery Lead to join our team in Alexandria, VA.

As a Digital Delivery Lead – Alternative Delivery, you will play a critical leadership role in embedding digital delivery, BIM, data, and information management into some of the most complex infrastructure programs across the US. This role is focused on turning digital capability into practical delivery advantage—improving certainty, transparency, and control across progressive design-build and other collaborative delivery models.

You will operate at the intersection of project delivery, digital engineering, commercial controls, and client strategy, ensuring digital solutions are aligned with project delivery.

Your role

Digital Delivery Strategy:

  • Define and lead digital delivery strategies aligned with progressive DB, design-build, and other alternative delivery models.
  • Translate project and commercial objectives into clear digital use cases that improve predictability of cost, schedule, risk, and quality.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for digital delivery outcomes on assigned programs.
  • Coordinate with regional and global Digital Directors to align on business strategy.
  • Coordinate with AtkinsRealis Global Technology Center to implement resourcing and solutions.
  • Leverage existing developed digital tools and implement into AD projects.

Information Management & BIM Leadership:

  • Lead the implementation of ISO 19650-aligned information management frameworks tailored for US infrastructure delivery.
  • Establish and manage BIM, CIM, and digital engineering solutions into active projects and programs.
  • Oversee development and governance of:
    • BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
    • Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDPs).
    • Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs).
    • Common Data Environment (CDE) configurations.

Project Integration & Delivery Enablement:

  • Embed digital processes into core delivery functions including:
    • Design management and coordination.
    • Cost, schedule, and risk controls.
    • Change management and commercial assurance.
  • Ensure digital models and data are fit-for-purpose for construction, commissioning, and asset handover.
  • Support interface management across multi-disciplinary, multi-partner project environments.

Tools, Data & Technology:

  • Lead adoption and governance of digital platforms including BIM authoring tools, CDEs, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Work with teams to integrate BIM, GIS, and data systems to support decision-making and reporting.
  • Identify, pilot, and scale automation, AI-enabled tools, and advanced analytics where they deliver meaningful delivery value.

Client & Industry Leadership:

  • Serve as a trusted digital advisor to clients and joint venture partners.
  • Clearly articulate digital value during pursuits, project reviews, and executive briefings.
  • Support business development by shaping digital strategies that differentiate AtkinsRéalis in alternative delivery bids.

Governance, Assurance & Risk:

  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure data quality, compliance, auditability, and commercial defensibility.
  • Ensure digital systems support claims substantiation, risk management, and contractual requirements.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate digital delivery risks.

People, Capability & Growth:

  • Mentor and develop digital delivery, BIM, and information management practitioners across projects.
  • Support adoption of consistent standards while allowing flexibility for project-specific needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of AtkinsRéalis' digital delivery approach across markets.
