As part of our engineering projects, we are seeking an experienced Document Control Team Lead who can establish, maintain, and continuously improve complex document management systems.


Your role


  • Lead and support a Document Control team to ensure effective document management across projects, delivering consistent performance and value.
  • Establish and maintain document management processes, procedures, and systems in accordance with company standards.
  • Oversee project document control activities to ensure the effective use of document management systems and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training, mentoring, and guidance to project teams as well as internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implement initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Ensure document management systems and procedures are properly implemented and consistently applied throughout projects.
  • Support management in the selection, assessment, training, and development of qualified document control personnel.
  • Drive the continuous improvement and evolution of document management tools, systems, processes, and procedures

About you


  • Extensive experience in document control within the EPCM industry, with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in an intermediate or senior-level role.
  • Experience working in project, engineering, or construction environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage document control systems, tools, processes, and procedures within the services, engineering, and construction sectors.
  • Fluent in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.*
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Knowledge of Aconex and Autodesk Forma software.

*This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as the clients and/or suppliers you will interact with are primarily English-speaking and located outside Québec.
