Manager of Organizational Culture & Behaviour

Overview

Reporting to the Training and Onboarding Director, the Manager of Organizational Culture & Behaviour is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining culture initiatives that support organizational growth, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and workforce productivity. As the organization continues to expand, this role will play a critical leadership function in evolving and strengthening the culture while helping employees and leaders navigate the challenges associated with rapid growth, organizational change, and increased business complexity.

This highly visible role will be closely partnered with senior executives, business leaders, HR, and employees across all levels of the organization to foster a high-performance, value-driven culture. The Manager will serve as a strategic advisor, change champion, facilitator, and influencer, helping embed cultural priorities into everyday business practices while leveraging employee strengths to maximize engagement, collaboration, and organizational effectiveness.

Your role

  • Develop and execute the organization's culture strategy aligned with corporate objectives, growth plans, and long-term business goals.
  • Design and implement programs that improve employee engagement, inclusion, collaboration, and organizational connectedness.
  • Identify cultural risks, opportunities, and barriers associated with rapid organizational growth and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead culture change initiatives that reinforce organizational values, leadership expectations, and employee experience objectives.
  • Establish culture metrics and performance indicators to measure progress and organizational impact.
  • Analyze employee feedback, engagement survey results, and workforce insights to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop action plans and strategies that strengthen employee satisfaction, retention, and overall workplace experience.
  • Promote a culture of recognition, accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
  • Champion strengths-based leadership and employee development approaches across the organization.
  • Partner with leaders to leverage individual and team strengths to improve productivity, collaboration, and performance.
  • Support leaders in creating high-performing teams that maximize employee capabilities and engagement.
  • Manage relationships with external culture, engagement, organizational development, and change management consultants.
  • Oversee consultant deliverables, project plans, budgets, milestones, and business outcomes.
  • Ensure external programs align with organizational objectives and deliver measurable value.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and leadership teams to support successful project execution.
  • Design, facilitate, and deliver culture workshops, leadership sessions, employee forums, and organizational development programs.
  • Present regularly to executive leadership teams, management groups, and employee audiences.
  • Lead discussions on organizational culture, team effectiveness, employee engagement, leadership behaviors, and change readiness.
  • Develop communication strategies and materials that reinforce cultural priorities and organizational values.

Work Location:

  • Primary work location will be in Mississauga, ON office.
  • Occasional travel to other project sites may be required.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Adult Education, Psychology or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting organizations undergoing significant growth, transformation or business change.
  • Experience managing external consulting partners and client relationships.
  • Experience with facilitation.
  • Experience in an office environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting engagement and organizational performance data.
  • Understanding of Adult Learning Principles and the Systematic Approach to Training Process.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Experience with Workday, or other HR and training/learning management systems are considered an asset.
  • Strong communication skills including technical writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Exceptional communicator with a strong ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Ability to adapt to last-minute changes and handle unexpected situations effectively.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to remain positive and calm in a hectic environment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability.
  • Excellent internal customer relationship skills.
  • Reliable self-starter who can identify what needs to be done and take initiative and can work independently with limited direction.
  • Extremely detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
