What started as a role focused on testing and quality assurance has evolved into a leadership journey, one that has seen him lead large‑scale releases, mentor teams, and contribute to strategic business decisions while helping deliver solutions that make a difference beyond AtkinsRéalis.
Delivering impact at scale
One of the achievements Yogesh is most proud of is successfully delivering more than 30 go‑lives within a single year. Managing high volumes of releases while maintaining quality, stability, and client satisfaction required careful planning, collaboration, and attention to detail. For Yogesh, the real reward came from consistently receiving positive client feedback and knowing that every successful release helped create value for users. The solutions his teams support are used by more than 4,000 end users, including government and field teams. Seeing reliable, defect‑free releases being used in real‑world operations reinforces the importance of the work being done every day.
More than quality assurance
For Yogesh, making a difference means much more than executing successful tests. It means creating confidence in every release, enabling teams to work efficiently, and ensuring quality remains at the centre of everything they do. It also means mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture built on accountability and ownership. As responsibilities have grown, so has his ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and make decisions under pressure. What was once an individual contributor role has evolved into one that includes delivery ownership, resource management, and leadership responsibilities.
The power of trust and opportunity
One defining moment in Yogesh's journey was being nominated to lead the QA and Testing Community of Practice within Global Technology Center ‑Digital. The opportunity was more than a leadership role. It was a reflection of the trust placed in him by senior leaders and colleagues. It reinforced my sense of belonging and purpose within the organisation,
he shares. That trust has been one of the biggest surprises during his time at AtkinsRéalis. The freedom to contribute beyond defined responsibilities and take ownership of important initiatives has allowed him to grow in ways he never initially expected.
Stronger together
Yogesh credits many of his successes to the collaborative culture around him. During major VUEWorks releases, seamless coordination between QA teams, developers, and stakeholders ensured timely delivery and consistently high‑quality outcomes. The people, he says, are one of AtkinsRéalis' greatest strengths. "There is a strong sense of teamwork, support, and shared accountability. Everyone is committed to helping each other succeed." This culture becomes especially valuable during busy release cycles, where open communication, approachable leadership, and collaboration help teams navigate challenges while maintaining quality and delivery commitments.
