We are seeking a Senior Utility Coordinator  to join our team in Houston, TX, Dallas,TX, and Austin, TX

How will you contribute to the team?  

• Request/ Review records and as built drawings for existing utilities.

• Oversee and coordinate project work; interpret plans & schedules to anticipate conflicts, review cost estimates, coordinate and conduct meetings with affected parties, and oversee inspection and documentation of project work.

• Assist in the coordination and tracking of project submittals.

• Review utility relocation design plans from utility owners.

• Assist in the preparation of utility agreements and compliance with Utility Accommodation Rules.

• Verify the completion of utility relocations, coordinate with utility owner's consultant and contractor.

• Thorough understanding of TxDOT's Utility procedures and rules.

• Performs work which involves diversified technical duties of a professional level, typically requiring specialized skills, experience, and/or academic training, in support of assigned projects.

• : Works under the supervision of a technical professional or other technical/project manager, as required by position and assigned responsibilities, consistently exercising discretion and independent judgment in the performance of professional-level technical duties.

• Coordinates with, guides and/or reviews the work of junior professionals, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.

 What will you contribute?  

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in a technical field, plus continued education through workshops, seminars, and related courses plus ten years of experience in engineering or related technical professional activities, exhibiting familiarity with related computer programs and applicable permitting work.

• Good technical writing, analytical ability, and computer skills.
