Overview
We are seeking a Layout Lead to join our team in Henderson, NV to support the continued growth of its Plant Engineering – Minerals & Metals business. The Layout Lead will lead the development and coordination of the overall plant and site layout for the Arthur Gold Project Feasibility Study. Integrate input from mining, process, infrastructure, utilities, water, tailings, and construction disciplines to produce safe, operable, maintainable, and cost-effective facility arrangements that support study and execution objectives.
Your role
- Lead the development and maintenance of the integrated site layout, process plant arrangement, and general arrangement drawings.
- Coordinate layout requirements across process, mechanical, structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, mining, tailings, water, and infrastructure disciplines.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary layout reviews, model reviews, and constructability workshops.
- Develop plot plans, equipment layouts, access strategies, maintenance provisions, and material handling arrangements.
- Optimize site layout to support safety, operability, maintainability, capital efficiency, and future expansion requirements.
- Identify and resolve spatial conflicts, interface issues, and constructability risks early in the study phase.
- Coordinate development of 3D models and ensure consistency between models, drawings, and discipline deliverables.
- Support trade-off studies and value improvement initiatives affecting plant configuration and site development.
- Interface directly with the client and key stakeholders during layout reviews and design workshops.
- Provide guidance and oversight to designers and design leads supporting layout development activities.

About you
- 15+ years of experience in multidisciplinary plant layout and design for mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial facilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading plant and site layout development for PFS, FS, FEED, and EPCM projects.
- Strong understanding of mineral processing facilities, mobile equipment interfaces, maintenance requirements, and construction sequencing.
- Experience coordinating multiple engineering disciplines within a 3D model environment.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and modeling tools such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, OpenPlant, SmartPlant, Navisworks, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead model reviews, layout workshops, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
- Experience on large gold processing projects is strongly preferred.

Additional information
Expected compensation range is between $110,000 - $115,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
