We are seeking a Senior Water Engineer to join our team in Alexandria, VA or Calverton, MD.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Leading Task Orders and performing as Task Manager as part of larger projects.
• Managing small to mid-sized projects.
• Leading and/or being part of teams focused on business development, client interaction and proposal development.
• Representing AtkinsRéalis at professional society and industry group events and conferences.
• Leading design and development of plans and drawings, including development of preliminary layouts and/or final drawings.
• Organizing and performing engineering assessments, investigations and planning work.
• Preparing reports and presentations.
• Development of specifications and permit applications and writing miscellaneous reports.
• Providing guidance as an experienced professional to junior staff.
• Performs or assists with project constructability and value engineering reviews.
• Upholding engineering ethics and professional standards of conduct.

What will you contribute?

• Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Significant experience in utilities design, sanitary systems and/or water resources.
• P.E. License is required.

Expected compensation range is between $120K – 200K annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
