The area will cover over 28,000 km² of land and water, which also includes more than 90 islands.

What will the Red Sea Project involve?
The Red Sea Project will be made up of six main major projects. These include:
- The Red Sea International Airport
- A Landscape ursery
- Waste Management Facility
- Hotel Destinations
- Construction Village with Central Medical Facility
- A Coastal Village
