Masters (M. Arch) or Graduates (B.Arch.) with 8+ years of experience and duly qualified having exceptional work experience track record. Growing evidence of influence across other disciplines and on multidisciplinary projects with a broad technical knowledge base and ability deliver varied technical assignments.

Technical

  • Complete knowledge of drawing information; building regulations and other technical documents; Accountable for coordination. Ability to supervise juniors and be responsible for reviewing technical accuracy of the deliverables.
  • Initiates specializations in specific technologies or verticals or sectors through internal certifications or professional charterships.

Documentation & process knowledge

  • Full understanding of Design Stages of Work CD/SD/DD. Key performer in inter disciplinary coordination. Ability to cross check the design/ scheme for compliance and verify consultant information.
  • Ability to review the planning application/ submission requirements. Ability to liaise with clients and contractors to design as per the clients brief in compliance with the local planning policy guidelines and recommendations of statutory authority.
  • Enhances skills in latest technologies/software's to augment existing knowledge and able to leverage the same to streamline the project and time/cost saving measures.

Project administrator

  • Responsible for designing/ detailing the scheme as per the client’s brief. Proper resourcing and cost management.
  • Liaise with the planning authority and consultants. Initiates the Multi-disciplinary coordination and client discussions. Intermediate reviews and milestone deliveries. Responsible for reviewing the quality and accuracy.
  • Responsible for initiating the project set up meeting; Understands and briefs the team about the scope of work. Ability to understand and analyse the design to develop/ detail and deliver the project. Responsible to estimate and track the progress of the project against the cost and time utilization. Based on the early risk and warnings raised by the team members, the technical lead will facilitate timely information to the project team.
  • Responsible for technical accuracy and reviewing the deliverables. Ideal candidate should possess good understanding of types of tender and contracts. Ability to fore see any risks and highlights the same to the client and consultants.
  • Review the project related technical documents provided by LPO and should be accountable for deriving the strategy to setup the project in a manner relevant to the forthcoming stages of work.
  • Able to take a technical lead role in areas of expertise.
  • Able to present their technical work and that of the others on the project to the clients.
  • Leads single discipline teams on projects of average complexity or as a Project Information Manager on medium and larger projects and Design Manager on smaller and medium projects.

Project tools

  • REVIT: Support less experienced users, manage work sets and guide project setup. Creating complex parametrically driven families with an advanced level of competency. (Family Library). Using Phasing and the link with MS Project for 4D construction. Able to modify Revit’s templates and standards. Work with engineers to bi-directionally share model information with structural and environmental analysis software. Using site modelling tools to place buildings on topographically mapped terrain with real world coordinates.
  • Advanced level of with Autodesk certification preferred good knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and good awareness of Dynamo for productivity tools Awareness of AutoCAD, sketch up, Photoshop, InDesign, Enscape preferred.

Architecture construction & technology

  • Advanced knowledge of the sequence of the construction and the usage of different elements within the framework and is competent with the technical terms of building elements. Demonstrates good coordination ability to address the needs and requirements of other disciplines. Ability to check the inputs from the team and other involved disciplines and be able to suggest alternatives to the consultants or clients.
  • Competent understanding of the range of materials and their material properties. The candidate should have advanced understanding of the application of these materials (e.g., bituminous materials, liquid applied components, etc.) and ability to suggest materials as alternatives to the client and consultants. Ability to educate the junior grades via formal or informal means. Aware of construction details in accordance with the selected materials. Should have updates and awareness of new materials available in the market.
  • Ability to consider statutory, site, design constraints and able to mentor the team to design with respect to these constraints.
  • Good understanding of the sequence of the construction and the usage of different elements within the framework and is aware of the technical terms of building elements. Is competent in understanding the requirements of other disciplines. Ability to assist seniors in the process. Continues to develop knowledge of drawn information through the progression of project work.
  • Has good knowledge of range of materials and their varied usages in construction. Takes initiative to carry out research on the materials and is enthusiastic to learn and explore the materials under minimal supervision of seniors. Continues to develop knowledge of materials through progression of project work.

General

Checks the drawing with respect to its orientation and information content. Provides guidance and able to check the information, independently markup drawings for the junior team to produce the deliverables. Coordinates the Multi-D requirements. Is aware of compliances of regulatory authorities. Competent in checking the information to comply with the approved documents.
