How will you contribute to the team?  

You will be an Engineer within the Highways team carrying out the design and checking of a range of elements associated with highway projects.  You will be responsible for:

  • Project-based design activities and supervising the design team.
  • Checking and reviewing designs.
  • Maintaining technical quality standards and mentoring junior designers.
  • Delivering projects within time and budget.
  • Liaising with Europe/Nordic based customers in a responsive and client-focused manner.

What Will You Contribute?

Essential:

  • Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed College.
  • Around 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the consultancy business, working on highways and related features.
  • Experienced user of Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in implementing quality standards and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of common applications in MS Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Evidence of successful delivery of highway projects.

Desirable:

  • Holds a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in the design of grade-separated junctions.
  • Working knowledge of Indian/European highway design standards.

The Individual:

  • Highly self-motivated and ambitious.
  • Proven track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the highways and bridges industry.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers.
  • Excellent ability to build working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Experience in using written and spoken English within a business environment.
