How will you contribute to the team?

Performs non-manual fieldwork that involves a blend of conventional and complex tasks, requiring the application of comprehensive and varied professional knowledge across broad areas of assignments. This typically includes coordinating multiple projects.

• Plan and organize the observation and documentation of construction projects.

• Schedule and coordinate the observation of ongoing work, as well as the testing and sampling of materials.

• Assign, lead, and supervise internal staff engaged in observation, testing, and related record-keeping.

• Monitor contractors' progress against the schedule and prepare progress reports.

• Review payment requests and determine the amount owed to contractors based on on-site observations and contract stipulations.

• Oversee the compilation of final estimate documents.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field and seven years related experience including personnel supervision. Engineering design experience desirable. With Associate's degree, fifteen years of related experience. Without a degree, seventeen years related experience is required. 

Special Skills

• Leadership and managerial skills; analytical and organization skills; ability to supervise field representatives and field office personnel.

Professional Registrations

• P.E. desired
