AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Document Controller to join our team. This position is based in Toronto, Ontario. The Document Controller is responsible for ensuring that document management aligns with organizational policies and procedures and meets contractual obligations. This role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring consistent application of document control processes, managing effective communication of outputs to all stakeholders, and supporting change management and contract processes across the program.

Your role within the team:

• Ensure that document management aligns to policy and procedures for the organization and meets contractual obligations.
• Maintain accurate records and ensures the consistent application of document control processes across the program
• Maintain documentation; receive, process and control deliverable and non-deliverable documentation.
• Ensure the established documentation work processes are implemented, followed and maintained, including quality assurance checks to demonstrate conformance, thereby ensuring that accurate records are kept and maintained for proper audit trail.
•  Ensure the timely and accurate processing and recording of deliverables per project contractual obligations, to meet schedules and avoid monetary penalties/delayed placement of orders/inaccurate information
•  Manage effective communication of outputs to all stakeholders including coordination of document management activities with internal departments and clients
•  Generate statistic and ad hoc reports; conduct system queries on the status of documents and support the change management and contract processes across the program.

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience with document management and control along with completion of a diploma in a related discipline or equivalent.
• Experience working on large scale airport and/or aviation infrastructure programs in a Document Control or related role
•  Exposure to document management workflows and systems (e.g., Oracle Unifier Document Module, Aconex, ProjectWise) with knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Acrobat.
• Solid understanding of engineering and procurement documentation
• Excellent organizational skills with accurate attention to detail, with the ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet schedules
• Self starter with demonstrated capability of working under tight timeline, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and confident interacting with a variety of program stakeholders.
• Availability to work in person five days per week at project office
