Energy Engineering Intern

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Engineering intern to join our Richland, WA office. This position is located in Richland WA, remote work is not an option.

Our Internship Program, Explore, is designed for college students pursuing a degree in a STEM field and provides opportunities to learn what it’s like to work in a professional environment and apply what’s learned in class to the real-world challenges we face every day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the local engineers with the development of design drawings.
• Provide field support for the engineering staff. This may include hands on support of engineering testing and operational support activities.
• Prepare datasheets and other engineering design documents under the guidance of staff engineers.
• Demonstrated ability to work with teams.  Leadership experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EXPERIENCE: Previously served as an engineering intern.  Previous work experience with AtkinsRéalis is preferred.
• EDUCATION: Completed sophomore engineering course work and will be entering as a Junior at an accredited engineering program.
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Familiar with engineering software such as CAD and spreadsheets.

Expected compensation range is between $25-$31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
