To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for the piping design, preparation of drawings and 3D-Modelling required for the execution of Industrial projects and Power & Renewables projects from concept design, FEED design and detailed design.

Responsibilities:

• Provides design, production and coordination of construction plans and drawings in support of engineering or architectural project(s).
• Selects and recommends design procedures.
• Review and analysis of regulatory requirement and safety design as per standards.
• Prepare high quality engineering deliverables within agreed timeline.
• Responsible in preparing all drawings document below with the assist from Engineer as min:
  • Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&ID).
  • Pipe Penetration Details.
  • Equipment Layout.
  • Piping Routing Drawing.
  • Piping Isometric Drawing.
  • Equipment Connection Details.
  • Piping GA drawing.
• Assist Engineer in quantify all pipe, valves, fittings and bulk materials to be included in Bill of Materials Take off.
• Basic understanding in main pipe routing design, P&ID & Drawings and Details mentioned in this Job Description.
• Performs designs & drawings utilizing CAD.
• Perform piping 3D design in SP3D & AVEVA E3D software.
• Ability to utilize Ceaser II is added an advantage.
• Teamwork and able to support other discipline.
• Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3-7 years’ experience in Piping Design preferably in Industrial projects.
• Experienced in EPCM work environment.
• Experienced in tools and software such as Autocad, SP3D, PDMS.
• Thorough Knowledge of Malaysia Code and local legislative regulations / International codes regulations (ASME, ASTM, PIPS, PTS, API, etc).
• Added value in having past work experience in the multicultural team and hybrid environment.
• Experienced in site installation is added advantage.
• Good communication skills.
