Project Manager – Air Quality

This role will be based on site in Edmonton, Calgary (AB) or Vancouver (BC) 

What will your contribution be to the team?  Under the supervision of the Air Quality Team Leader, the Project Manager will be responsible for the following tasks: 

  • Support environmental impact assessments, permitting studies and other client requests:  Identification and assessment of air quality impacts, atmospheric dispersion modeling, contaminant emissions inventories, GHG emissions and mitigation, development of dust management plans, odor assessment 

  • Development and implementation of ambient air quality monitoring programs. 

  • Indoor air quality sampling programs and recommendations. Report writing. 

  • Prepare service proposals.

What are we looking for? 

  • University degree in chemical engineering or another relevant degree; PMP or CAPM certification. 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in air quality, to include experience with atmospheric contaminant and GHG emissions calculations, AERMOD model and preparing decarbonization plans and recommendations. 

  • Considered an asset: Experience with the Calpuff model - Experience with climate resilience studies - Bilingualism (French/English). 

  • Project management and report - proposal writing skills. 

  • Driver's license and car; Valid passport (*)  

 

Assignment: 

(*) A regular full-time position. The workplace is located in Edmonton, Calgary or Vancouver. Travel may be required occasionally within Canada and occasionally abroad.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $90,000 - $126,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
