You will be responsible for supporting the Project Director the entire fitout process of a construction project. Fitouts involve the interior design, layout, and installation of fixtures and furnishings in a commercial or residential space to meet the client's requirements. The Project Director Fitouts plays a crucial role in ensuring that the fitout project is completed on time, within budget, and meets the quality standards set by the client. Here is a typical job description and requirements for a Project Director Fitouts: 

 

1.  Project Planning:  

   - Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan for fitouts, considering the client's specifications and requirements. 

   - Create timelines and milestones for each phase of the fitout project. 

 

2.  Budget Management:  

   - Establish and manage the project budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and aligned with the client's financial constraints. 

   - Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report financial status to stakeholders. 

 

3.  Team Leadership:  

   - Lead and manage a team of professionals, including architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors. 

   - Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members to ensure project success. 

 

4.  Client Collaboration:  

   - Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and the client. 

   - Provide regular updates to the client on project progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction. 

 

5.  Quality Assurance:  

   - Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that the fitout meets industry standards and client expectations. 

   - Conduct regular inspections and reviews to identify and address any issues promptly. 

 

6.  Risk Management:  

   - Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. 

   - Anticipate challenges and proactively address issues that may arise during the fitout process. 

 

7.  Compliance and Regulations:  

   - Ensure that all fitout activities comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards. 

   - Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes. 

 

Requirements: 

 

1.  Education:  

   - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. 

 

2.  Experience:  

   - 15+ years of experience in project management, particularly in fitouts or interior construction projects (Commercial & Retail) in KSA/GCC. 

   - Proven track record of successfully delivering fitout projects on time and within budget. 

 

3.  Skills:  

   - Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. 

   - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration. 

   - Knowledge of construction and fitout processes, materials, and methods. 

 

4.  Leadership:  

   - Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions and solve problems effectively. 

   - Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and unexpected challenges. 

 

5.  Technology:  

   - Proficiency in project management software, as well as design and drafting tools. 

   - Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) is a plus. 

 

6.  Certifications:  

   - Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications are advantageous. 

 

7.  Flexibility:  

   - Willingness to travel as needed and work flexible hours to meet project deadlines. 

 

8.  Attention to Detail:  

   - Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of fitout work.
