Assistant Engineer – Sustainable Building Design

Responsibilities: 

• Undertake sustainable design assignments from both technical and project management perspectives (under supervision of more senior staff);
• Perform computational modelling simulations to analyses alternative design options.

Requirements: 

• Degree in Building Services, Mechanical and Energy Engineering or related discipline;
• With a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience preferably in environmental / sustainable building design projects;
• Good knowledge of Green / Healthy Building Labelling Schemes such as BEAM Plus, WELL and LEED preferred;
• Practical experience in the application of computational design tools such as CFD and thermal energy simulation is preferred and Retro-commissioning (RCx) experience is an advantage;
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills;
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written English & Chinese;
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Graduate Engineer.
