AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Management Analyst to join our Project and Program Service team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Dallas, TX. This position will be a fully remote opportunity and is open to alternate working locations in the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under supervision, develops professional proficiency in the delivery of project management services, and as a secondary focus, in supporting internal business operations including business development, financial management, and staff development.

  • Provides daily point of contact to client, contractors, and consultants at project level.
  • Supports the client or manager on day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope including project monitoring and controls during the project lifecycle.
  • Provides administrative support to the client or manager to facilitate project expenses, onboarding vendors, developing Statements of Work, submitting purchase order requests, logging accruals and tracking invoicing.
  • Ensures that all project-related documents are appropriately filed, record logs kept up to date and are made accessible to project teams.
  • Collects and analyzes key project data on a weekly basis and coordinates with the client on associated required reporting.
  • Assists the client or manager with regular reporting on project status.
  • Attends project meetings, produces, and circulates agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Assists the client or manager in tracking and updating the project budget.
  • Supports the client or manager in monitoring and addressing project billing issues and anomalies, both internal and external.
  • Follows up with project consultants, when necessary, regarding questions or clarifications to their invoice, estimates, quotes etc.
  • Assures appropriate filing of completed and signed project legal documents.
  • Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
  • Complexity - Work involves application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out somewhat diversified tasks requiring the use of analysis, interpretation, and deductive reasoning.
  • Decision-making - Receives direct supervision on new aspects of assignments, exercising independent judgment on details of regular assignments, minor modifications, and adaptations of alternatives.
  • Work direction given to others - May coordinate with and/or guide the work of junior technical staff and/or others who assist in specific assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • EXPERIENCE:
    • Must be articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and good decision-making abilities. Must have good communication skills.
    • Must have a general understanding in the areas of Project Management, Building Design & Construction, Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling, Cost Monitoring & Controlling and Risk Analysis. Familiarity with project accounting a plus.
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field. 0-2 Years of professional experience in a related technical field. 1-2 years of experience is preferred.
  • SPECIAL SKILLS: Proficient interpersonal and communications skills.
  • PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: CAPM Certificate (not required but a bonus)
