Assistant Engineer

Desirable Requirements: 

• Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers
• Experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment
• Experience of bridge design
• Experience of the design and / or assessment of structures in a rail environment
• Experience of the design and / or assessment of bridges / structures in a range of materials including steel, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, composite, masonry
• Familiarity with a range of engineering software, including grillage analysis and finite element analysis programs
• Familiarity with the use of AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Familiarity with UK design codes and Eurocodes
• Experience or knowledge of CDM Regulations
