We are currently looking for a qualified BIM Information Manager with 12-15 years’ experience to:

  • Develop, lead and assist project teams in BIM project set up

  • Develop and deliver structured BIM models for projects within multiple disciplines up to LOD 500.

  • Participate in the process of developing BIM standards for projects

  • Implement BIM training modules for key staff

  • To develop and maintain Revit content libraries through creation of templates, families, etc.

  • Ensure that the implementation of Revit aligns with the corporate strategy, standards and global practices.

  • Develop procedures to facilitate sharing of content and knowledge.

  • Develop and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standard

  • Develop, monitor, coordinate and report on the Pre- Post contract BIM Execution Plan (BEP), Task and Master Information Delivery Plan (TIDP and MIDP) and Project Implementation Plan (PIP) for Digital Design delivery.

  • Monitor and support the data collection process and validate Asset Information Models (AIM’s) inline with Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBie) and Client Specific requirements.

  • Develop design reuse tools and automate routines in BIM in compliance with Global standards, ISO 19650, BS1192, etc.

  • Develop BIM specification(s) documentation and support integration with Tender(s) as required.

  • Manage, support and validate project design delivery e.g. modeling, detailing, scheduling and extraction.

  • Review, monitor and report on the development of clash interference and coordinated models with Design Leads for resolution and closure

  • Understanding of Model Checking QA via appropriate collaboration software and tools.

  • Prepare validation reports for milestone BIM package submissions.

  • Support the Contracts and Project Controls department in BIM related activities.

  • Monitor and validate the Asset Information Models tagging with all related project documents e.g. the H&S file(s) and O&M Manual(s) etc.

  • Willingness to learn and follow corporate global practices

  • Flexibility  to travel for short periods of time to UK/ Far East to interact with other corporate BIM and Digital solutions teams.

  • Travel for short periods of time to KSA to meet with client and construction team.

  • Have experience working for a contracting company where he can develop and oversee models up to LOD 500.

Technology Requirements:

  • Demonstrate expertise in preparation of 3D BIM models and construction documents using Revit, MEP, fabrication, etc.

  • Knowledge on Revit HVAC, Plumbing systems, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data is added advantage.

  • Clash detection, coordination and visual walkthroughs in Revit & Navisworks

  • Revit content creation: Parametric families using formulae, nesting and type catalogs

  • Integration of Revit products with other applications (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Quantity Takeoff, etc)

  • Must have experience in CDE setup using BIM 360, ProjectWise, etc.

  • BIM experience with 3D rendering and visualization (Such as 3DMAX, Enscape, Lumion, etc)

  • 4D Schedule simulation (such as Synchro)

  • 5D Cost estimation (Such as Cost X)

  • Understanding of delivery applications interoperability with analytical and engineering applications.

  • Analysis and simulations, and specification linking etc.

  • Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBie) extraction.

  • In addition to the above, it is expected that the candidate is experienced with other platforms related to other BIM project lifecycle such as Autodesk Inventor, Lumion, Rhino,  BIM Track, TEKLA, Bentley, Projectwise  and Solibri.
