Responsibilities & Skills Required

  • Architect background. Member of professional organisation eg. RIBA, AIA etc.
  • Preferably with hospitality and interior design experience.
  • Experience of managing large project teams with multiple stakeholders.
  • Must have understanding of design management and the process of design.
  • Experience with input and or preparation of scope of service, evaluation of tenders, RFP’s.
  • Presentable communication skills.
  • Sound technical understanding of both building design and construction methodology.
  • Ability to identify engineering grey areas and provide a solution.
  • Input to and assist with review and analysis of design proposals, ensuring compliance with Client’s objectives and requirements.
  • Attend meetings with consultants, contribute to meetings, manage and record minutes for full coordination between all disciplines.
  • Manage and coordinate dissemination of design information to all relevant parties in timely manner.
  • Manage design deliverables according to project priorities and approved time schedule.
  • Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience, with 3 years in the GCC.
