In the infrastructure and transportation sectors we have a rapidly expanding workload and an exciting portfolio of roads, rail, water and building development projects. As such we are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to take a leading role in our strong geotechnical team.
We currently have an outstanding opportunity for experienced Geotechnical Engineers in our rapidly expanding team in Bangalore GDC. An ideal opportunity for individuals looking to develop their international experience by working with a multidiscipline team of Geotechnical Engineers providing a comprehensive design service to our clients.

The successful applicant will be a geotechnical engineer with a proven technical and project management track record.

  • A strong academic background with Master’s degree in Foundation or Ground Engineering or Civil engineering (Geotechnical specialization) or PhD in a relevant subject.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum support from seniors.
  • With minimum 5-7 years of relevant design experience.
  • Proven experience of acting as a geotechnical engineer in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with international clients.
  • Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
  • A flair for innovation.
  • A willingness to travel on short term assignments both within India and overseas.

Candidates will be asked to show how their experience demonstrates ability to:

  • Analytical skills to assess complex problems and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Design of modular and embedded retaining walls, slope stability analysis & pile group analysis.
  • Conversant with geotechnical analysis software like PLAXIS 2D/3D, SLOPE/W, SEEP/W, WALLAP, PDISP and REPUTE.
  • Experience of soil structure interaction work and numerical analysis would be an advantage.
