HR Coordinator

This position is based out of our office in Houston, TX. and reports to the Kent Director, Human Resources. It is responsible for working to make a great experience for employees and managers through excellent service and support. The HR coordinator assists the HR team in HR processes to provide a positive experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, employee information, compliance, immigration, off-boarding etc.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Manages day-to-day HR administrative tasks while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Oversees on-boarding activities to ensure complete and accurate information is collected, filed and/or distributed.
  • Coordinates and facilitates new hire orientations.
  • Liaise with IT and Facilities for on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • Manages the company drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Performs Exit Interviews and files/tracks accordingly.
  • Coordinate’s training sessions and seminars.
  • Supports HR Business Partners with the performance evaluation process, compensation, and compensation review process.
  • Manages Service Award Program.
  • Responsible for I-9 management, including e-verifying employees as per e-verify requirements.
  • Manages HR email inbox by responding, liaising and/or re-directing.
  • Responsible for employment verification letters.
  • Immigration tracking and follow up on open items.

What will you contribute?

  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years related work experience.
  • Understanding of HR principles.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
