Atkins Nuclear is currently seeking a Laborer to join the nuclear team in Oak Ridge, TN.

JOB DUTIES

  • Perform work tasks involving extended periods of lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling and climbing. The ability to lift overhead and work in awkward or challenging positions.
  • Supports the execution of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles and core functions and the Isotek Safety Culture.
  • Perform grounds keeping activities using power equipment such as weed-eater and, manual and riding mowers
  • Possess the physical and visual acuity requirements to qualify to operate forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to wear respiratory protection, protective eyewear and other personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work independently following task list and instructions.
  • Ability to obtain a Q clearance.
  • Follow Istook work control requirements

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to update and maintain inventories and manage lists.
  • Ability follow the requirement of Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Ability to identify needs as well as prioritize and balance workload without direct supervision.



EDUCATION/EXPEREINCE

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous qualification with forklifts and material handling equipment is helpful but not required.
