Main Responsibilities
The Junior Design Manager will join the project team providing technical and administrative support.
Duties will include
- Interpretation of architectural technical drawings
- Creating and maintaining project documents, logs and reports as required.
- Translation of documents to/from Arabic/English.
- Document control, filing and archiving.
Communications and Working Relationships
- Reporting to Design Manager
- Interface with Project Team
Required Skills
- Background in urban design, architecture, and/or master planning
- Projects experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Good English both spoken and written
- Aware of how buildings and spaces are used
- IT skills including AUTOCAD, Photoshop, Revit, Sketchup, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Able to interpret architectural technical drawings
- Having a logical approach
- Good presentation skills
- Strong team player and capable of working under pressure to achieve deadlines
- Organised and self-motivated
- Able to take instruction and work through assigned tasks to completion
- Having high attention to detail and accuracy
- Good math skills related to architecture and building design
