M&E Cost Manager job in Singapore

The Cost Manager - Mechanical & Electrical (QS M&E) will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects with the desired project objectives.

The roles and responsibilities include:

Prepare bill of quantities/pricing schedule, tender documents and tender pricing
Attend tender interviews with the client and project team in the administration of projects
Post contracts cost management works, manage and evaluate variation orders, payment valuations and final accounts
Obtain, compile and evaluate quotations from the respective suppliers/vendors according to tender contracts requirements
Technical review on suppliers/contractors quotation or proposal making sure that all tender contract requirements are in order
Manage project close out

The successful candidate should possess:

Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
Minimum 5 years of working experience in Building and/or Engineering projects preferably with consultancy background
A breadth knowledge across all aspects of M&E knowledge and excellent technical knowledge in a number of specific areas
With wide range of projects experience in all sizes and dimensions
Sound computer knowledge
Familiarity with MEP cost estimates/tender preparation and evaluation/interim valuation/final account close out; knowledge of different types of Conditions of Contracts will be an advantage.
