To assist with the provision of a successful and proactive Maintenance Team Leader for part of the AtkinsRéalis Qatar, Middle East business.

Job Description- Maintenance Team Leader :

Maintenance and asset management, inspection and evaluation of MEP systems performance. Plant condition inspections and assessments, development of improvement projects to replace and improve plant and system reliability. Managing contractors to resolve the issue on time to meet Client expectations.

  • Mange client and stakeholders’ expectations and ensure contract service delivery.
  • Perform work safely as per site procedures, industry best practice and in-line with Blue Book Atkinsrealis standards.
  • Comply with PTW, method statements, step back process and using appropriate PPE and risk management.
  • Area Ownership: Maintenance and asset management. Effective and efficiency of PPM program
  • Technical responsibility: Oversight of MEP systems including but not limited to HVAC, AHU’s, CRAC units, pumps, water, LV distribution, VSD, UPS systems, Audio Visual Systems etc.
  • Champion LEED, ENERGY and environment initiatives for your area. Reduce, reuse and recycle.
  • Energy Conservation measures (ECM’s), Energy Management, ROI cost calculations, associated Electo/Mech basic engineering formula.
  • Ensure the asset register is up-to-date, complete and that appropriate PPM’s are assigned
  • Manage contractors/vendors for day-to-day attendance and remedial works.
  • Review system consumables, spare and critical parts holding. Provide justification for holding.
  • Communicate with client, line manager, FM team on operational issues.
  • Verify works are completed in the field before approving invoices and job completion on SAP.
  • Communicate with procurement department for material and service requests related issues.
  • Immediately escalate to your line manager any incident or system failures that may impact service.
  • Investigation of issues to establish root cause to engineer out, reduce or eliminate risk of repeat failures.
  • Seeking client approvals for planned service interruptions, major maintenance or remedial works.
  • Support projects, review and provide input during design and prior to installation.
  • Managing time effectively for scheduled meetings and training. Submit weekly and monthly reports on time.
  • Maintain operational log of known issues, deficiencies and follow up actions required and taken.
  • Completing the I-Auditor inspections to meet the Client SOP’s
  • Following up KAPSARC SOP’s and reviewing with quality department for any changes.
  • Working with quality department for Client KPI’s and NC’s response as per the schedules.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, engagement with the team, embracing change and new ways of working. Challenging the status quo with zero compromise to safety.
  • Completing QHSE online trainings, BIPS and ID’s on time.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices within your area. Highlight and follow-up any issues found.

Qualifications

  • BSc Mechanical Engineer/ BSc Mechanical will also be considered.

Experience (Yrs.)

  • 7 + year’s relevant experience in operations & maintenance
  • Specialist in electrical system operations and maintenance
  • Knowledge of Audio-Visual equipment
  • LEED / ENERGY Management /ASHRAE knowledge and experience
