We are seeking Principal Engineer – Vertical Transportation. Embark on a journey where your passion and enthusiasm converge, designing cutting edge building vertical transportation solutions in the most iconic new projects in the Middle East. To be a success in the role you must have a solid understanding and background in lift and escalator domain, coupled with seasoned expertise in consultancy.

Join our Vertical Transportation Team, spearheading innovation in the Middle East from our vibrant hub in Dubai. Seize the opportunity to be at the forefront of our groundbreaking initiative as we assemble a dynamic new team dedicated to vertical transport.

 

Responsibilities

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in utilizing lift traffic design software (Elevate).
  • Generating technical reports, specifications, lift and escalator manufacturer technical reviews.
  • Working with other Discipline Engineers such as Architectural, Structural, PM & MEP
  • Attending meetings with clients, project teams, Lift & Escalator suppliers, and other related specialist subcontractors.
  • Manage your own projects.
  • Knowledge of CAD, BIM, RHINO and other design applications would be advantageous.
  • Liaise with lift and escalator manufacturers to ensure latest products and sizing is curre

 

Requirements

  • Degree in relevant Lift and Escalator field or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • 8 - 10 years experience
  • Considerable expertise in designing vertical transportation systems.
  • Understand latest codes, regulations and standards.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Written and spoken English must be at a fluent standard.
  • Accomplished presentation skills to client level.
  • Building and maintaining a positive professional image
  • Taking the lead in preparing competitive bids and proposals
  • Willing to learn.
