Your role within the team:
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Administer assigned subcontracts maintaining a continual review of progress, providing management with information regarding projected financial or technical difficulties.
• Coordinate with designated staff on operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations, subcontract performance and contract administration.
• Administer information programs to ensure mutual understanding of subcontract terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with subcontract requirements and implementation of Change Management procedures.
• Pricing of change and delay issues including negotiation of Change Orders with Subcontractors
• Maintenance of change management/issue logs and provision of summary reports.
• Attend regular contractor review meetings and maintain excellent relationships with the owner, client, subcontractors and public.
• Cost forecast and administer claims, payment administration, schedule monitoring and monthly financial reporting.
• Source suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring that the selected company is qualified to provide the material and/or service required and to the owner's satisfaction.
• Work with engineering consultants and construction teams as required to ensure their commercial deliverables meet project/owner requirements

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelors degree in construction management or commercial management.
• A member of the CIQS (PQS designation) or RICS or the ability to obtain such designation
• 3 years work experience
• Experience working on projects in excess of $1 billion
