Your role within the team:
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Administer assigned subcontracts maintaining a continual review of progress, providing management with information regarding projected financial or technical difficulties.
- Coordinate with designated staff on operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations, subcontract performance and contract administration.
- Administer information programs to ensure mutual understanding of subcontract terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with subcontract requirements and implementation of Change Management procedures.
- Pricing of change and delay issues including negotiation of Change Orders with Subcontractors
- Maintenance of change management/issue logs and provision of summary reports.
- Attend regular contractor review meetings and maintain excellent relationships with the owner, client, subcontractors and public.
- Cost forecast and administer claims, payment administration, schedule monitoring and monthly financial reporting.
- Source suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring that the selected company is qualified to provide the material and/or service required and to the owner's satisfaction.
- Work with engineering consultants and construction teams as required to ensure their commercial deliverables meet project/owner requirements

The ideal candidate:
- Bachelors degree in construction management or commercial management.
- A member of the CIQS (PQS designation) or RICS or the ability to obtain such designation
- 3 years work experience
- Experience working on projects in excess of $1 billion
