The role is to work with the Office Directors and strategic leads across the region in developing a robust service offering across the entire Infrastructure sector, including Developer led schemes, Highways, Aviation, Rail, Utilities and Central/Local Government.

 

The position within the region is seen as a strategic appointment requiring utilisation levels of circa 60%. The key parts of the role are summarised below



Management
Provide a focal point for the Regional Infrastructure teams providing strategy, leadership and direction
Provide support and leadership to the Infrastructure teams across the region
Provide support and leadership to the teams across the region,
Provide support and guidance to the Highways, Rail, Aviation, Account Directors at a National level
Identify key individuals across the region who demonstrate the correct skills and aptitude to deliver the secured opportunities and to develop the service offering
Review training requirements and develop programme for obtaining necessary skills
Identify key external candidates who can develop and support the service offering
Review IS support systems and assess where service improvements can be made
Work winning

Undertake Market assessment and define the offer for the Region, including Developer led schemes, Highways, Aviation, Rail, Utilities and Central/Local Government
Undertake assessment on interface with Atkins business and assess/develop future service propositions
Prepare Regional Business Plan and provide quarterly updates against agreed KPI’s to Regional Board and National update via Regional MD
Oversee the production and review of KAMP’s for all identified clients
Increase the revenue from the Infrastructure accounts by 20% in year 1, targeting a margin of >8%
Increase the revenue from the HE account by 50% in year 1 targeting a margin of > 8%
Identify and secure wider opportunities service offerings within Infrastructure sector. i.e. PM, Design, BS, H&S etc
Identify key supply chain partners who can support and develop the service offering
Work with the Marketing team on preparing appropriate marketing strategy and BD collateral
Provide support and guidance on all regional bids and key national bids
Delivering Work

In conjunction with Office Directors oversee project delivery and outputs, monitor compliance, seek regular feedback from clients and input into KAMP’s
