Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Tampa Bay, Florida Office as a ROW Technican.

Major Function/Role:
Under supervision, provides technical support in the areas of acquisition, appraisal, records management, systems maintenance, relocation assistance, or other technical services for the division.

Job Duties:
Compiles and examines documents and information, conducting follow-up, and completing forms to provide support to senior technical managers and attorney.
Completes forms and invoices requesting warrants for court deposits and closings, compiles condemnation resolutions, and lawsuit packages, retires files, and otherwise provides coordination and support to right-of-way group. Monitors schedules, updates existing databases, monitors and updates project budgets, and performs quality control of project files. Assists technical professionals in preparing relocation plans, bid packages, and property owner notification packages. Assists in preparing specifications, writing technical reports, calculating project costs and man-hours, coordinating presentations, and performing other related tasks. Performs other such duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.


Education and Experience:
High school diploma (or equivalent) plus four years related experience OR an Associates Degree in a related technical field plus two years related experience is required.

Special Skills:
Strong analytical, interpersonal, writing and communications skills. Ability to learn to read/interpret maps and plans.
