Risk Manager

Job Overview

• The Risk Manager will have a detailed understanding of corporate risk management and be proficient with different Risk software.
• He shall have good negotiation and coordination skills with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in Risk management. 
• He will be responsible to conduct regular risk workshops with different stakeholders. 
• The Risk Manager will also develop and manage the Consultant’s own Risk Register on behalf of the Employer.  Identifying and dealing with any issues that may arise related to risk, which, if ignored, could lead to litigation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• He will also be responsible to monitor and review the O&M contractors risk processes, workshops in compliance with their contractual obligations. 
• He will be responsible to present a regular update on the Risk register for the Project from a Client's perspective. 
• He shall also be responsible for the preparation of Risk Management Policies and Procedures.
• Responsible for identifying the critical causes of accidents or losses.
• Recommending and implementing precautionary measures.
• Responsible for compiling data and information into well-organized reports with graphs and statistics to support findings once risks are discovered.
• Develop and maintain a risk matrix identifying dependencies and the impacts of not meeting scheduled dates.
• Monitor projects and ensure that an adequate and robust Risk Management process is under active management

Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering, Finance or Business Management, with a bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of 7 years or more of experience in risk management position
• Risk Management qualification or equivalent
