Senior Architect III

Atkins North America Inc. seeks Senior Architect III: Define scope of project, with full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating project assignments. Select problems for investigation, developing novel approaches and solutions to architectural problems in consultation with the director of Architecture. Conduct quality control checks, reviewing calculations, designs, specifications and construction documents for accuracy and completeness, and performing on-site inspections of projects under construction to ensure aesthetic value and quality construction. Plans, organizes and directs the work of junior architects, technicians, and CAD staff required for the project. Req’s: M.S. in Architecture and 2 years experience in the job offered or related occupation, including design and project management, metro transportation facilities construction projects, corporate office projects, technical proposal preparation, use of BIM and CAD platforms (Autodesk Revit, AUTOCAD, or Microstation), use of visualization tools (3D MAX, SKETCHUP, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Indesign).
