AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. seeks Senior Cost Manager in Tampa, FL: Serve as the client’s main contact for providing cost management services, including invoice validation, cost forecasting and reporting, change management, close out administration, procurement management, earned value and value engineering. Specific duties include: Review and issue cost reports to the construction team; Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables; Review the cash flow and issues, with the cost report, to the client’s finance/construction team; Review all change orders in accordance with the client’s approval process; Ensure all invoices are being processed by the cost team; Provide procurement services for the client where applicable for construction and engineering services, including preparing RFP and bid analysis; Where applicable, overview and report to the client on contractor buyout of subcontract bid packages; Lead the bi-weekly cost meetings to review procurement status and change order status with the contractors and engineering teams; Provide cost information on value engineering analysis; Carry out an earned value analysis of the project on a periodic basis; Review the contractors close out administration and ensure that they meet their contractual requirements; With minimal supervision and where necessary, assist the client with any cost information relating to legal issues due to non performance by the contractors or engineering services and mechanical liens etc.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Construction, Business, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field, or the foreign equivalent and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In lieu of a Master’s degree, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Business, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field, or the foreign equivalent, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Knowledge of: Construction finance practices and construction asset settlements; Cost management, scheduling, project planning, and estimating; Working on construction projects; A/E and CM cost; Budget development, cash flows, cost schedules; Cost benchmarking and data visualization dashboards; Cost management for multi-million-dollar oil/gas industry sector construction projects; Primavera P6; The processing and creation of both change and purchase orders; Accruals to maintain an accurate spending forecast for construction projects; and, Leading a CAS team. May be assigned to unanticipated work locations throughout the United States. Remote working or telecommuting permitted in all U.S. States, in accordance with company policy.
