You will work on a variety of projects, involved in the analysis, assessment, optioneering and design of process systems, ranging from single discipline studies to large multidiscipline projects. Working closely with our clients, you’ll be consulting with them to develop a full understanding of their project requirements, delivering cost effective and innovative solutions.
Your purpose:
We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to work on predominately early-stage process engineering activities (i.e. concept, appraise and select studies) as well as operational support and troubleshooting, to provide practical solutions to our clients’ challenges, including the requirement to decarbonise oil and gas production. Our average project timescale is 8 weeks – so you’ll be involved in a large variety of work, from optimisation studies and concept development to process safety studies and offshore commissioning.
Your work will generally include running process simulations, preparing Process Flow Schemes with mass balances and equipment sizes, and preparing reports and presentations. You’ll be responsible for the delivery of high-quality deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards and internal procedures.
What you can bring?
With excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, you will be able to build relationships effectively and work with teams across disciplines and locations. You are comfortable and adaptable to working in new and changing environments. - Background in the oil and gas industry, with experience in feasibility, concept selection and front-end engineering studies.
- Experience using HYSYS/UniSim, performing standard process engineering calculations and developing technical reports. Dynamic simulation and flow assurance experience would be especially welcome.
- Project engineering skills to ensure studies and projects are delivered within agreed budgets and schedules.
- Understanding of relevant safety and environmental industry regulations. Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (American Petroleum Institute, National Association of Corrosion Engineers, Institute of Petroleum, British Standards etc.).
Additional Information:
