Senior Water Network Hydraulic Modeller

Our Network & Drainage Engineering team is one of the largest in the UK with clients that include water companies, local authorities, major airports and a range of international customers. We are currently seeking a Senior Water Network Modeller to join our team based in Epsom.

The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years’ experience, must have a sound knowledge of clean water modelling packages and experience in the design of solutions that improve water infrastructure systems. They should be cable to work at an Engineer level and to work to technical, programme and budget requirements.

Education and Professional Qualifications
• Degree in Civil Engineering (BSc or MSc)
• Chartered (CEng, C.Env or relevant other) or very near to this professional status

Essential Criteria
• Experience in the design of solutions that improve water infrastructure systems
• Sound knowledge of network modelling packages such as, InfoWorks, Synergi and InfoWater
• Experienced in managing site work on water infrastructure assets including, working in the highway, at operational sites and in confined spaces
• Working knowledge of GIS packages e.g. MapInfo and / or ArcGIS
• Full UK driving licence
• Eligible to work in the EU

• Water Mains Rehabilitation
• Leakage Assessment and Management
• Coding

Responsibilities
• Delivery of projects as part of a team as well as on individual assignments
• Project Management of Water Infrastructure based projects
• Direct liaison with Interacting with Clients and other stakeholders 
• Team development and Practise led sales
• Data analysis
• Technical report writing
• Line Management of Apprentices and Technicians
• Proactive commitment to Health and Safety

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary it will be discussed with you at interview.
