SNC-Lavalin Atkins business seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Tampa, FL Structures Group as a Structural CAD Technician.

MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE

Under close supervision, performs computer-assisted drafting to support the technical services of the company.

JOB DUTIES

Performs computer-aided drafting and design work of simple to moderate complexity.
Incumbents at this level typically work from paper drawings only, not from specifications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma (or equivalent) plus four years related experience OR an Associates Degree in a related technical field plus two years related experience is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Good mathematical and CAD skills desired

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Experience with Geopath/ Inroads is a plus
Experience with Bridge/Building Structures is a plus
