As a Technician, Employee Benefits, you will be responsible to support the employee benefits team members with their daily activities. You will play an important role in helping the team members administer the benefits programs.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Research and resolve benefits issues stemming from employees, internal Human Resources (HR) teams and payroll teams which could not be addressed through the providers’ call centers
  • Manage CSST files in collaboration with the claims administrator
  • Develop and maintain group insurance policies and procedures
  • Administer employee benefits programs under the supervision of the manager including the collaboration with providers on the administration of such programs
  • Participate in projects relative to employee benefits
  • Validate employee data in HR systems
  • Group benefit premium calculations for various types of leaves
  • Collaboration with the learning management systems team for the launch of various training sessions relating to employee benefits
  • Plan related benefits initiatives for the benefits team such as flu vaccination and blood clinics

Requirements:

  • College Diploma in administration or the equivalent
  • Work experience (minimum 3 years) in HR or employee benefits
  • MS Office suite proficiency (advanced knowledge of Excel)
  • Highly proficient in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Proven ability for team work
  • Independent with strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in high-volume environment
